Manufacturing

Connect the shop floor, inventory and finance in one system.

Manufacturers run on data that has to agree: what engineering designed, what production built, what the warehouse holds and what finance reports. When those live in separate spreadsheets and systems, costs drift, stock goes missing and traceability depends on whoever remembers. We map the process first, then build, customize or implement the systems that keep it connected.

Typical challenges

These are common challenges in the sector, not a list of client projects.

  • BOMs and routings nobody fully trusts

Bills of materials and routings are kept in spreadsheets or fall behind engineering changes, so material is issued against the wrong revision and standard costs stop reflecting how products are really made.

  • Shop-floor data captured late, or not at all

Output, scrap, labour and machine time are written on paper and keyed in days later, leaving work in progress invisible and production plans based on yesterday's picture.

  • Inventory valuation and costing done by hand

Raw material, WIP and finished goods are reconciled manually at month-end, and variances between standard and actual cost go unexplained because the underlying transactions are incomplete.

  • Quality and lot traceability across the chain

Linking material certificates, inspection results and lot or serial numbers from goods receipt to shipment is slow when records sit in different places, so a nonconformance turns into a manual investigation.
